On July 24 and July 25, 2024, both CEO, Jeffrey Lewis, and Director of Research, Dr. Aaron Stephan, have the exciting opportunity of representing ONCE by Signify at ELBA, the first Latin American meeting on animal welfare.
With over 15 years of experience with research and innovation, Dr. Aaron leads the development of cutting edge technology for lighting in agriculture at Signify. Dr. Aaron will be presenting on two topics on July 24, lighting and animal welfare in aquaculture, and the role of lighting in the animal welfare of birds.
ELBA 2024 is an initiative that will gather suppliers from around the globe to serve a united purpose: "Animal Welfare". The event will include veterinarians as well as professionals who are dedicated to the care of animals everywhere. There will be more than 500 attendees, along with 36 exhibitors from across the globe to present on various topics related to animal welfare. Specialized rooms will include birds and pigs, aquaculture, cattle raising and pets.
The event will help foster a strong dialogue amongst working professionals that will strengthen and improve the welfare of animals across regions, and ONCE is proud to be represented at such a wonderful event!
